The ending of the book gave me chills. The intensity between the Impressionist, and Jazz made me feel I was there. I felt the intensity from Jazz when he tells the Impressionist to tell his father that no matter what, he will catch him. Another reason I loved the ending was because we find out Jazz's father, Billy Dent, escapes from jail. After he escapes, Billy Dent kills his first victim right after. That part of the ending creeped me out so much. His father is a dangerous man. The author, Barry Lyga, left a great cliff hanger to the end of the book, and I wish there was more to read.

I completely agree with you. The end was perfect. The Details used to describe the scene in Jazz's bedroom with the Impressionist made me feel like I was in the room with them. I thought that the Impressionist was gonna some how escape, But that didn't happen. It ended all the books unfinished ends but still left a cliff hanger where you want read the second book.
I agree, the ending was great and really helped to develop the Impressionist's character by showing that he could also feel things (fear). It also left me wanting to know what happens next, and I really hope Barry Lyga writes a sequel.
